Cooper
Heart Recipient

Cooper’s mother, Kari, first found out about her son’s heart defect during a prenatal appointment. In his first year, Cooper braved several heart surgeries, but eventually doctors concluded that he would need a transplant to survive.

After two months on the waiting list — and on life support — Cooper received a lifesaving heart transplant at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center in St. Louis.

Cooper is now back at home where he is happy, healthy, and loves to blow bubbles with his two older brothers.
